When an incident occurs that may require you to submit a claim to your insurance company, there are several things you should do.


Auto Accident:

• Try to keep calm.  Call 911.
• Note the date, time, and location of the accident.
• Get name, phone number, email, and any other contact information from witnesses.
• Do not leave the scene of the accident.
• Do not admit responsibility at the scene.
• Limit the information about your insurance company to what is on your insurance card.

• Stay calm.  Call 911 if needed.

• Physicians and medical facilities will normally guide your through the medical claims process.
• Make sure you consult with your health insurance company BEFORE any non-routine treatment or surgery.
